Meals at Rock Springs reveal much about our attitude
towards quality. We offer the finest in Northwest
cuisine featuring only the freshest products carefully
prepared by our Chef Steven Hazell, CEC, and our
experienced kitchen staff. Meals are served ranch
style in our comfortable dining room, on the patio
overlooking the pond, on the trail, or pool side.
Special dietary preferences are happily accommodated,
and the abundant choices we offer are planned
with both child and adult palates in mind. Delicious
pastries and breads are baked daily and offered both at
meals times and throughout the day.
We
are offering four special "Bend
Bounty" weeks next summer, with local growers,
cheesemakers, brewers, and wineries, to create a varied
culinary experience of our area. These will include
visits, samples, and presentations from regional
producers, wine paired dinners, and cooking classes.
We start all of our meals with the freshest
ingredients such as Northwest grown, mill-ground flour
for our baked goods, Northwest fruits and berries for
our syrups, jams, and jellies, and the finest meat and
produce available. All of our beef is Oregon County
Natural Beef, raised hormone free with a priority
on the humane treatment of their cattle.
Begin your day with a
delicious ranch breakfast from our buffet which
includes eggs, baked breakfast breads, fresh fruit, and
many options from healthy to indulgent. A hearty
lunch will provide you with energy and vigor for your
afternoon fun. Whether enjoying lunch on the trail on
our all day ride or back at the ranch, your meal will
be sure to exceed your expectations.
Relax after a day filled with the exuberance of the
outdoors. Enjoy a beverage and hors d'oeuvres before
dinner. Our beverage selection includes premium
selections of Oregon wines from the fertile Willamette
Valley as well as Napa Valley vineyards. Domestic,
imported, and local microbrew beers are also available
along with sodas and juice. Children even have hors
d'oeuvres of their own down at the cowpoke corral.
Dinner at
Rock Springs is truly an event unto itself! Our famous
honey baked salmon or mouth watering beef tenderloin
seared to perfection are sure to be the perfect ending
to your active day. Our gourmet barbeque night is
popular with all guests as well as wild game night for
the adults while the children are out on their own
hayride and camp out. Your hosts, John and Eva Gill, as
well as most of the staff will join you and the other
guests for meals.
