TENNIS WEEKS

During our mid-July tennis weeks, we offer tennis clinics in addition to our regular offerings, as a part of our all-inclusive program. Dates for 2008 are July 7-14 and 14-21.

BEND BOUNTY CULINARY WEEKS

For four weeks of the summer, our chef Steven is preparing special Bend Bounty weeks: a culinary exploration of central Oregon.

Most people will agree that you can't beat local produce for freshness and taste. Produce that has traveled ten to thirty miles is going to taste better than produce that has traveled thousands of miles over several days.   Local farmers often harvest that day or the day before to deliver fresh produce. Working directly with farmers keeps us up to date on growing conditions and seasonal availability. Allowing us to serve the freshest products available. 

Food is fundamental to life, nourishing us in body and soul. The preparation of food strengthens our connection to nature. And the sharing of food enriches our sense of community. Good food begins with unpolluted air, land, and water. Which, we are fortunate to have an abundance of here in central Oregon.  

Our emphasis At Rock Springs Guest Ranch is on food that is locally grown, seasonally fresh, and whole or minimally processed. We focus on ingredients that are good for us, and the local farmers.

These Bend Bounty weeks, with presentations and samples from local producers, cooking classes and demonstrations, and special menus to feature local products, will be June 21 -28, July 5 - 12, July 26 - August 2, and August 9- 26 of 2008.

ADULT WEEK

At the end of August, when the youth counselors and the children are headed home to go back to school, we stay open for one last week for just the grown ups. This is a 6 night week, from Saturday - Friday, and includes all the fun that our regular program does, except the child-centered pregrams and activities.

Dates for this special week are August 23 - 29, 2008. Our rates are $1,995 per person, double occupancy, $2,395 single occupancy, and we have a special non-rider, doule occupany rate of $1,400.

OTHER SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Outside of our regular summer program, we offer a horse drive/ roundup photographers clinic, and a holiday weekend over Thanksgiving in November.
