Evening Events for Conferences
Many of our clients feel an evening social event brings their group together and creates bonds between them. We have put together a list of events which have been successful here at Rock Springs, adding a fun dynamic to the Rock Springs Ranch experience. The prices below are subject to change, as they are from outside vendors.
The lodge itself is conducive to social time. With a comfortable living room, pool and ping pong tables, and a warm atmosphere, evenings without special events are already a time when participants come together. Because there are no televisions or telephones in the cabins, there is little to draw them away from this comfortable social space. Even so, many groups find that an evening event adds to their overall experience.
Casino Night- Poker, Craps, and Blackjack rule the evening, and prizes can be supplied by our trading post. A local company, Team Casino, provides the tables and dealers. Cost is $225+ per table.
Campfire Night- After dinner, gather around the fire for an evening of roasting marshmallows and telling tall tales. Optional add-ons are:
- Cowboy Poet and Entertainer- A local cowboy to lead songs and recite a few lines of traditional cowboy poetry. $100 - $350
- Live Music by the Fire- Options include a fiddler or guitarist to play acoustic music by the fire. Prices range from $100 - $250.
- Horse Drawn Carriage Rides - Have your participants brought to the lodge or campfire from their rooms, or just take rides for fun. $500
(Any of these campfire add-ons can be scheduled without the campfire, as well.)
Bend Bounty- Experience Central Oregon through your taste buds! Meet local producers of produce and meats, artisan cheeses, micro brews, wines, and distilled spirits.
DJ and Dancing - Central Oregon offers a variety of DJs to choose from, and the lodge dining room can be cleared to offer ample room to scoot your boots to their beat. Prices range from $400 - $700.
Old West Murder Mystery Dinner - This interactive evening begins with Jesse James and his gang of cowboys staging a hold up. You will be part of this mysterious murder complete with Mae West and a crew of notable characters right out of the Old West. Cost varies, depending on company used.
Gourmet Barbeque - Create some pre arrival excitement by requiring all to be duded up for a gourmet cowboy dinner complete with ribs, steaks, and all the accompanying dishes.
Games Night - An interactive evening complete with board games such as Pictionary and Cranium can be a great way for groups to bond and get to know each other. Pick teams and set the stakes for fun!
